Chromer, if you like the concept so much but hate the song list so much go drag a GF machine into your house for a ridiculous amount of money compared to the $90 you spend for GH. Let that sink in.

Oh and the cover of freebird is awesome, the singer isn't bad at all. He's not like the original but he is good. If he was that bad, they wouldn't of put him in the game. Even if you don't feel the same way he only sings in like the first half anyway. The rest is guitar solo.

Oh, I wasn't sure if it was $80 or $90. I thought my friend spent $90 on it but I think it was for the 360 =/.

Seriously, it's a videogame, not all players are like "I'm totally a professional guitar player now. Who wants to challenge me to a battle of the bands? I don't have a guitar yet but I could go get one soon! I could probably find someone to sponsor my awesome skills!"

People play it because it's fun. As said before, just look at DDR. EVERYONE who plays that knows it is nothing like actual dancing, so why are you saying people who play GH must not realize that real guitar is different?
DDR players don't want to be on "so you think you can dance?" and GH players (usually unless they actually ARE good at guitar which is possible) don't feel like they should be in a battle of the bands. Two completely different things, so they should not be connected.
Besides, a game should be rated on how fun it is, not on the attitude of the people who play it.

I never said Shash was a moron. I never said anyone outside of GH was a moron. These are my views on GH. You don't have to agree at all, fine by me. But I would like for you to consider it. And not everyone goes out to Battle of the Bands if they're good. They may just sit at home and entertain themselves with guitar playing. But, I do agree with you. Your last sentence is true.

I'd just like to say that I've never played GH. This is just what I've heard about it. Oh, and didn't I hate it for a reason? I think I did. But, whatever, I don't really care what you think of my oppinions/views on GH. I just don't think that it's EVEN CLOSE to being like playing a guitar. I understand it's a video game, and I understand it's just for fun, but, I can't grasp the concept that anyone would think it's close to playing a guitar.

Sounds to me like you have an idea in your head of who a GH player is and what they're like. Sounds to me like you hate the people and there attitudes (that no one has, and that I've ever met, so I'm pretty sure it's all in your head) more than the actual game.
