I dont know about you guys but it is just more fun for me when you play stock and no items. If those two conditions are met then i could care less about what happens. I think it mostly just gives fairness so that everyone doesnt lose in the might of the person with a hammer or pokeball. Im not into wavedashing either, i think people just do it to say "hey look, i am wavedashing hehehe" I just play with the regular fighting skills and tend to beat most if not all of the people i play.

Fox FTW!

I got 2nd place at a SSBM tournament that was like a region thing...I used 2 characters through the entire tournament...Marth and Fox...My skill with Marth is gone, I can't counter attack worth **** anymore =\.

I just play as Marth, Link, Kirby, or Ness. And I always play 20 stock matches with all items on very high, .5 damage ratio. Marth is awesome, aerials are great, good speed and strength too.

Hey, has anyone done a downward spin attack with Link, when you time it perfect so you fall off an edge and spin at the same time?

thats easy, all that is easy cept for lan multilayer cuase then your against equal or weaker people, cruel melee is the only thing that has even a bit of challenge for me. i'm sure most people we argree

You need more than 2 people...You need atleast 3...Peach, Fox and Falco.

Yeah, I've made the black hole a couple times too. It was pretty hilarious... you have to actually be concerned about lagging the Gamecube. It'll lag no matter what, but you can actually freeze up the Gamecube completely rather easily.

If you throw in any more turnips than you absolutely need, it freezes up for sure, along with any other laggy things (throwing a barrel into the black hole = insta-freeze).
