I like most Bemani soundtracks (DDR, IIDX, etc.), but aside from music games, I really think Spyro the Dragon (the first three) had really great music. I think the music was made by Stewart Copeland, the drummer of The Police band.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and 3 are also quite excellent. THPS4 is pretty good... nothing is really standing out though... Actually all of the THPS line are awesome, just some of them don't stand out so much in my mind as the first, second, and third (in that order).

I thought THPS2 had a good soundtrack.

thug2 had the best soudtrack ever (well im a metal head) and it had some good music,other than that i would have to say nfl street 3 for psp they had alot of good metal

Yeah KH and KHII did have some pretty amazing music. Except Sanctuary. That song sucks ass. Passion is better.

Prince of Persia for being the first game with a real soundtrack rather than one song on loop, or just bleeps and bloops.

Morrowind for capturing the "omg this game is epic!" feel.

THPS has a pretty ****ty soundtrack.

And Halo 1 has really good gameplay, Halo2 is horrible, and yes, it us a good soundtrack.
