Golden sun 1 and 2 were ok, Fire Emblem is my personal favorite. The first one is several million times better than the second one though.

It's not the first one. It's Fire Emblem 7. There were 6 of them before they ever reached America, one of which was on the GBA.

Actually you can get 3 Fire Emblems on the GBA.

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (The one I mentioned)
Fire Emblem (7)
Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi

All three are different games for the GBA.

Unless you do mean america only, but I just see things as emulators and roms so it's pretty universal.

I understand there are more japanese FEs. I would not refer someone to one of the japanese ones, because in all likelyhood nobody is going to go out and import them when they can get 7 in english. I personally favor 6 in gameplay, but it's entirely in japanese. Sure I can read the game script, but it just isn't the same. The ones before 6 are pretty much not worth mention anyways. Unless you want to use Marth because you discovered FE through SSBM.

Actually some of the best RPG's are translated japanese games, like Tales of Symphonia and Romancing Saga III (both for snes).

Tales of Destiny is the for the Playstation and was actually released in the USA. ToP is for the SNES and was not.

I think it was ruined after gold and silver. I'm intersested to see what pearl and diamond will be like though, but that's coming to the DS. Tales of Phantasia is coming to the gba.

Tales games rule. They seem to like the 'ia' at the end of some of them though. Symphonia. Eternia. Ok, that's two, but they don't have anything to really do with the game.
