If you had autosave on for Chronicles, you had about a 50% chance of your data ever corrupting. It doesn't do it for half of the games, but for the other half, it's pretty random, it can happen at ANY time.

Turning off Autosave doesn't always keep corruption away. It's pretty random. I hope (doubt) they fix this in the PAL version.

Wow, I guess I must be very lucky because I haven't gotten any corrupted data for Choronicles of the Sword at all, even with Autosave one. Then again, I always make sure to manually save the Chronicle data whenever I'm finished for the time.
Did anyone load the same Chronicles of the Sword data after finishing the last chapter? Because in a way, it feels odd to face off against Lvl. 5 characters with your Level 50 ninja. :P

By the way, here's an even cheaper way to beat the boss of the last Chronicle. Using a Samurai character equiped with the strongest katana in your possession, use the B+K move against your opponent. Then, when you knock him into the air, use the A+B combo, though you should stop after the second hit. Repeat as neccessary, and use a Guard Impact if Strife manages to block your attack.
This is more effective, as the Ninja move Tosh mentioned leaves you vulnerable right after you're midair. Likely, Strife will roll out before you finish it (even if you aim the last attack properly) adn attack as you land.

If it can be guarded, this is significantly less effective. If you just do it randomly when he can roll out of the way, you're not good enough to be using it anyway, and it doesn't take much skill to do it.

Everytime I've even made it to Strife in the last stage, I've only had about half health with my main character left.

Although I have gotten Strife down to half health a few times. For some reason, with iron sword style, the AI NEVER blocks <- <- B. It's a guard break move, but they don't even try to block it and have their guard break. It just hits them. I've cheesed through half the game using nothing but that (which is probably why my skills with the rest of my characters are minimal, heh). Strife moves so freakin' fast, though, he occasionally dodges it, which of course means he'll get 2 hits in, which kills me because he does so much effin' damage.

My strategy was to get 5 people, 3 were tankers(Luna, Abelia, Giradot), 1 was Kunai(Jesus), and the other was my main person(ToshX). What you do is you just make them all knights, and have a tanker run up to a person, start bashing, then all the other 4 go up and start bashing. You will not fight this person in an actual fight, because they own. You'll win without losing anything except around 1/3 of the HP of the tanker. You can continue this up to Strife. Remember to switch out for another tanker if one is about to die, otherwise you'll lose more HP then needed from only having 4 people. Ok, so you're at Strife. Throw out whatever of those tanker noobs are left and cut off maybe 1/10 of his HP. Now send Jesus(my Kunai person) to go forward, forward, kick, kick, kick on Strife. This will break his guard and hit him for about 1/8 bar each time. Continue until he dies. You should be using the Shutensai or whatever it's called, because it recovers life and has the most offense. That is the most important part of this. Jesus should kill him, if not, kill him with your main character. If you fail this, try again. However, it isn't that freaking hard, as I beat him at full HP with a level 6 Swordsmaster using Kunai without taking damage.

I have a feeling that SC3 data corrupts when you delete data/saves off your memory card. That seems to be the case for many people. So don't delete any data off your memory card if you plan on keeping it.

That'd explain why nothing's happened to mine yet, because Soul Calibur is the only game I've played since I got it.

I improved upon your strategy a little bit. I tanked like you said, but only had two knights while the rest were infantry (infantry does more damage). After I got them to about 1/4th health, I used my main guy who has iron sword style, and just did back back Vertical, which for whatever reason, the AI NEVER blocks and only RARELY guard impacts against. Killed them, plus I gained XP. I lost, maybe... 5 health with my main like that, but he has on a healing sword so I'm pretty much at full every fight. When I got to Strife, I had lost almost all my first tank and only about 1/2th of my secondary tank.

BTW, your Kunai idea? Failure. Totally and utterly. I only hurt him NOTHING with my Kunai character. But, thanks to me improving on what you said to do elsewise to get through, my main guy had enough health I could sifficiently cheese him with Iron Sword.

Anyway, this just in: Night Terror is the most unbelievably hard thing I have ever, ever, ever fought in any game. Ever. Even harder than Ignus in KoF2001.
