OOOO i love this game, squeek, im not saying this is your problem but the aura around it has to be green and then you start typing, maybe thats not your problem, i dont know.

according to the troubleshooting guide on the official site, it might be caused by your Java security settings. So if you set your Java internet options to low security it should work.
