I've given up on this. Everything that can go wrong is going wrong here.

I FINALLY patched it, but now I can't select "Start Game". OK, so I assume I need to login. I can't. I hit 'Register member' or whatever that button is and hit enter to begin typing, but nothing happens. No text displays at all.

Argh.

Same thing happens to me Squeek. And when I get to the main screen the menu
highlighted thing just goes downin an infinite loop. I't becomes hard to select things.

If the text doesn't work, go to Control Panel > Languages, uncheck "Supplemental Language Packages", and reset your computer.

That ain't the problem.

I cannot select "Start Game". It is not a selectable option.

I also cannot login. When I hit Register, they bring me to that screen for ID and password, but when I hit enter to begin typing, it doesn't register any keys after that.

Like I said, I give up. It's not worth it.
