Can someone explain what the hell is so awesome about The Last Of Us (without spoiling)?
I've been playing it on the PS3 and I'm a few hours in. It's kinda interesting, but I don't see why people are fscking raving about it so much. Is there something awesome coming? (y/n, no spoilers pl0x)
No. game is overhyped as fuck.

Sorta in order, More games I've spent a ton of time on.
1. Skies of Arcadia (GC/Dreamcast) Really my first good RPG experience
2. FFR (PC) It's currently the rhythm game I dedicate time to. GH3/Warriors of Rock woulda been here before.
3. Super Smash Bros Melee (GC) Never did manage to get my characters to move as well on Brawl.
4. Windwaker (GC) I loved playing this game. The art style fit the story well.
5. Perfect Dark (N64) We can argue that Goldeneye is better, but I played with Joanna Dark more than Bond.
6. Metroid Prime Trilogy (Wii) Can't decide between Metroid Prime and echos..
7. Alpha Centari (PC) While not the best Sid Meier production, I enjoyed the heck out of it. I like sandboxes.
8. Super Meat Boy (PC) Platformer with the sharpest controls ever and holy crap is that a good thing.
9. Portal 2 (PC) Such a satisfying game to beat.
10. Nightfire 007 (GC) My friends and I spent way too much time on this game in college.
This is so damn hard. I don't know what to take out for games like Mario Kart DS, Terraria, Mean Bean Machine, Sonic the hedgehog 2, VVVVVV, Paper Mario, Disgaea DS, Crash Bandicoot Warped, Time Splitters series, ect.
Never did understand the point to play a modern shooter though.
Btw, if anyone has a spare copy of Earthbound to give me, I'd greatly appreciate it. ROMs leave a sour taste in my mouth for some reason.
1. Persona 4 (PS2/PSVita)
// you can also link it with Persona 4 : the Golden, since it's basically the same thing, with the addition of a lot of hassle.
2. Minesweeper (PC)
// I spend too much time playing this when my songs are rendering to .mp3.
3. Phantasy Star Universe : Ambition of the Illuminus (PS2)
// Don't think I saw this anywhere, but okay. This game is amazing when you have nothing to do, and that happens to me often.
4. Ragnarok Odyssey (PSVita)
// Nothing beats running around and killing stuff in Dansleif Mode. Awkward lead-you-along storyline, but a lot of creativity can be put into it*.
5. Seiken Densetsu III (SNES)
// One of my all time favorite SNES games. I don't remember the last time I beat it, but the first 12 hours are ridiculously fun for me. Actually gonna give it another run very soon.
6. Timesplitters II (GC)
// Spent a lot of time on this recently, and also a few years ago. A genuinely great game as far as shooters go.
7. Final Fantasy IX (PSX)
// Out of all the Final Fantasy-s, this one stood out as the best to me.
8. Minecraft (PC)
// Needless to say, a great game for sandbox lovers and people who love killing Zombies.
9. Persona 3 (PS2)
// Never got to beat it, but the storyline was incredible. The gameplay seemed kinda... slow. You grind until the full moon boss, then you fight it. Then you do more grinding, and repeat. A great point in the game was character relations. Everyone of the social links had a great story (as far as the ones I did go).
10. Jetpack Joyride (PSVita)
// You can kill me if you want. This game kills more time than time can regenerate.
1. osu! [PC]
Can't stress this enough, I've been playing this everyday for hours on end non-stop for a year and 3 months, can't really stop playing it. It's so addicting @_@.
2. Secret of Mana (or Seiken Densetsu) [SNES]
I loved playing 3p with my brother and sister back in the day.. dunno where my multi-tap went afterwards.
3. Chrono Trigger (SNES)
Gotten all the endings, beaten the game too many times, know everything inside out, what's there not to love about this?
4. Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 and 2 [Gamecube, partly Dreamcast and partly PC]
I whored this game time and again on the Gamecube especially. I first played this on the Dreamcast, but disregarded it until I got the Gamecube version. The PC version made me love this even more.
5. Counter-Strike 1.6 [PC]
This game makes you so much better at FPS when you realize you're totally bad at FPS when you first start playing competitively. Countless nights of scrimming and 10-manning with friends kept me playing this game all year.
6. Quake 2 [PC]
This is the game where I really learned how to aim and move. Even though it ignores realistic physics, aiming and knowing where to shoot (rocket launcher, grenades etc) is very much needed in a game like this. Thanks id software!
7. Animal Crossing: Wild World [Nintendo DS]
I have to say that this was fortunately the best game ever bought on the DS. I can't stress how many hours (perhaps around 3000-4000 hours) I spent MAXing my town out. I literally had everything, even all the items on the catalog, museum, bank deposits, you name it. Too much time spent trading, and believe it or not I did not time-travel since I found it lame. I really really really want to play New Leaf, but don't have the money for it.. /jobless. The best part about this game is Wi-Fi, no joke. Even though I hung out with friends I never knew IRL, it literally helped me become more sociable in t3h 1nt3rw3bz.
8. Animal Crossing [GC]
Same reason as above, maxed all 4 characters (houses) with golden trophies, flowers errywhere etc.
9. Final Fantasy 6 [SNES]
Illumina, Pearl, Offering & Genji Glove, Atma Weapon.. too good.
10. Ragnarok Online [PC]
I think I'm really good at this game, PvE and PvP wise. I spent years playing every class and perfecting their skills. When I started playing, I remember being on iRO beta (not sure if CBT or OBT) as an Archer, got to Hunter and loved it. Then became an Agi Knight because Two-Hand Quicken was the way to go. Fighting in Glast Heim all day was fun with a Priest being around. But few years later when Rebirth came out, I experimented with every other class, including Taekwons and Ninjas etc. I haven't played in the last 2 years though sadly.
