Oh man, I tried this game earlier today at college, and I must say I'm really bad at it, even on the easiest difficulty .

Also, I found this really funny YouTube vid of a person rage quitting at this game, let's just say my stomach was killing me afterwards:

Yeah, this is the biggest thing. That, and when the voice says "excellent" when you beat your record, that trips me up

I found that I play this 100% better without sound. I always accidentally interpret the patterns as coming in on the beat (which doesn't happen unfortunately) which messes up my timing.

I feel like i just need to play alot more to get good, since the majority of my (current) deaths for hexagonist are from triple Cs and me overrotating from playing too much hexagoner lol

Yeah, if you're dying to rotating too much all you need to do is play hexagonest at a regular schedule until your brain has a hexagonest mode and a non-hexagonest mode.

LOL. Yeah, I would imagine the mouse being quite difficult. Buttons would probably be much better to play the game with

Got some nice runs on the train home today:

                Hexagon - 127.47
                Hexagoner - 137.42
                Hexagonest - 77.10
                Hyper Hexagon - 111.28
                Hyper Hexagoner - 106.25
                Hyper Hexagonest - 72.32

lol @ them almost being better than my Hexagon scores

45 seconds into hexagonest, can definitely beat it. 40 seconds for hyper hexagon/er now, just a matter of time before i clear

deaths on hexagonest are still from under/over rotating, just gotta keep playing

I load up the flash game Hexagon, and see Terry Cavanagh.
                            Hmm, his name seems familiar.
Play the game for a little bit.
This reminds me of VVVVVV's Super Gravitron.
Go to google, look up Super Hexagon. Sudden realization.

Been playing the flash game for about 45 minutes (man it's addictive), my average is 20 seconds per run. I keep overshooting the gaps and crashing into the spin patterns.

So, I improved EDIT: all of my Super Hexagon times a bunch
                              Hexagon: 188.18
                              Hexagoner: 187.08
                              Hexagonest: 88.05
                              Hyper Hexagon: 153.23
                              Hyper Hexagoner: 128.18
                              Hyper Hexagonest: 80.17

                              check out dat hexagoner time

@chez-the-guy: Really sick. I still instachoke on black and white stage.

@YoshL: You can pass through diagonal cracks in Double Whirlpool patterns, because the game processes moving your cursor before it checks if you've died or not. I know it's programmed to work like that on purpose because it always works like that, you never randomly die doing it.
