that being said it's hard for me to imagine the disparity between tightly optimized builds and a somewhat directional off-the-cuff build can get any greater than it is now so whatever

dl'd the preseed i'm going to be mad as shit if it doesn't work for one reason or another (i mean not really because then i'll just patch normally but still)

i've decided i'm going to play some sort of block build since it's the only thing i haven't really done defensive wise

haven't decided what to use so far and it's pretty hard to do stop myself from doing something so off the wall it's unplayable (which i dont want to do)

on the other hand if i do something too meta i'll just end up doing successively stupider things to see what i can get away with until i inevitably die

where's ultimate bravery for poe when you need it

edit: ok i've decided i'm going to do some meme as shit mom block build now the question is how to kill anything with it

I am enjoying my block build a lot in solo self found. Block, tons of defense from shield, with all the reactive damage stuff.

Please God tell me this means I can just tell it the order for my whole build and have it assign points automatically as I get them.

There is a 5% experience penalty for deaths in Acts 6 through 10, level 5 and 6 Forsaken Master mission areas, and the Cruel and Merciless Labyrinths. There is a 10% experience penalty for deaths in areas reached through the Map device, level 7 and 8 Forsaken Master mission areas, and the Endgame Labyrinth.

Am I remembering right that this is a HUGE reduction in lost XP?

Reading the Labyrinth Map will reveal what the next chamber accessed from the nearby door contains, as opposed to just the current chamber.

Thank christ. Pointlessly loading into the next zone going 'whoops wrong door' and going back was such an annoying little time waste.

Also wow, they just nerfed Izaro hard across the board.

Cyclone now also uses pathfinding to determine where the skill will take the player (as opposed to moving in a direct line).

OMG My Cyclone character can stop getting arbitrarily stuck on chunks of wood! Greatest news of the patch!

I didn't even see this change. this is pretty huge for merciless lab, but overall I don't think it'll matter too much aside from running merciless lab and farming A9/A10

Eh, sometimes still levelling through the 80s, I'll hit a "can't be leeched from" boss pack mob and die four or five times before I can get past it or let totems wear it down :P
