that made me think about my thoughts on rb/mellon again actually, with my pov being that between the two of them, I'd vote mellon first. people would switch votes off of someone saying they're a cop, but mellon's reaction after the fact is bad.

I had no idea what the post meant in the first place
I had to mentally process that it WAS a soft in the first place

I did a shitty job at EOD, but I AM TOWN.

the reason why I was like "is this guy role cop" was because I still had in my head that he was the scummiest player in the game and cognitive dissonance told me that he must still be scum (because oh no, my poor brain being wrong!)

remember when I made that post about "hey, I don't actually have other major scum reads and that's a problem"
knowing that in my mind, and wanting to find only evidence that proved my worldview (LAR = SCUM), I considered the fact he might be fake softing an actual cop while being the role cop (this is dumb logic, but my brain thought it. welcome to tinfoil land)
for whatever reason, my brain remembered lar's hypo check being on Hakulyte, which I was like "waaaaaaaaait a second, didn't he say haku was easy to solve on d0 and then move on?" and "why did he check Haku if he said this LMAO"
of course, I wanted to find your post as proof, and when I found that it was on gradiant, I let the case collapse in my brain because it couldn't be true anymore

I swapped my vote on to FFA because the other alternative was me, and we can't be having that

Go reread that EoD and see what's said when and tell me if you still feel this way

i don't see roundbox specifically forcing you to hardclaim. it'd be like if ffa had hardclaimed and he was mad at everybody that was voting him. It's also reasonable for people to ask you about your check with that claim (in the case of indheart)
tbh, I saw the video was tekken with people fighting and i closed out of it before the handcuffs

i beat myself up pretty bad for that one overNight because i had reasons for him being town down and just wound up ignoring them

though, IOU work because, separately from the claim situation, i don't know who i'd have chosen to lynch otherwise

Yeah, if he actually considered it from his read of me he wouldn't have been voting there ever

Also note the tone change from anger to "i'm just bad, guys" style pleading at the end. If somehow he had gotten that far in that horrible EoD play and was town he would probably just be pissed or sad from it and stay inconsistent. It screams fake

I'm actually kind of blueballed rn because I spent the entire nightphase thinking that was InD's vote on me and I didn't bother rereading because I assumed I would die in the night.

So a good half of my scumreads is made from info that is completely false

think it's pretty dumb to be so mad at people when your claim was in the last 2 minutes btw. 2 minutes is practically no time for reaction or rereading. for the record, I was expecting any claim at that point to be from ffa, it's why I had indheart as null, thinking that ffa had him as a red check while not giving enough of a shit to actually play and make a case.

It took me some time to figure out what the hell you were talking about and the cognitive dissonance broke my brain once I searched more

In a sense, you claimed when you acknowledged the post, not when you actually claimed cop
I know an experienced wolf team could interpret our exchange for what it was: you highlighting your soft for all to see

If it was basically a claim (in a sense) you should have just unvoted?
