I wouldn't say "town got dunked" by me. Really all I did was avoid getting lynched on the first two day phases of the game. Slike did a lot more in terms of fooling the humans.

Kawamii, if you're Human, I would really appreciate you trying, because I feel like you might just be behaving like this due to a lack of sleep or something.

jrodd I was assuming Mashi was going to post Nighthawk's meta, and I hope he will still but I'll just give my limited experience and roundbox can chime in if he feels like he needs to.

Town got dunked by him in the last LLF game. He was a wolf and put 1000x more work into the game than anyone else I think. He proposed several plans that supposedly helped town that many people followed.

On LLF he's considered to be one of the best active players, and is on the Werewolf Council. He, along with a few others, is in charge of trying to make sure proposed games are balanced on LLF.

He tried to join fiction's RPS game like 3 years ago on FFR but had posting problems.

He knows a lot about mechanics and stuff just from talking to him (he even corrected me on a few things in general which rarely happens as u know).

In short, a good all-around player that has a large amount of time to put into games. Plays both alignments well (I would assume so just from his wolf game and what people told me on LLF but I've not seen a town game from him).

Nighty (along with Sauce on our forum) are easily our two best Players, so he's without a doubt a force to be reckoned with. Regardless of alignment, he will almost without fail put in substantial effort into the game as sunfan mentioned.

Him doing things like being the first to post a suspicion list or having a ton of conversations with Players or reading past games are things I would expect from both Human Nighty and Wolf Nighty. Reading him based on his actions aren't really enough; you need to figure out intent too. And he's pretty good at faking that too.

As far as distinguishing his two Roles go, I have a ton of difficulty reading him. I practically always tone read him as Human no matter what, so I completely ignore any intuition I feel like I have of him. The only two instances where I've caught enough suspicion to want Wolf Nighty lynched was in maybe two games, I think? In both cases though, I tried to think from his perspective for why he chose to make certain actions and why he chose to not make certain other actions; usually, I would end up thinking to myself "Why didn't this happen yet?" or "Does it feel like this action had an ulterior motive?" So if he were to make a push for a certain Player to be lynched, I might ask "Why did he decide to do that now?" or "Why this Player in particular" or something.

I don't feel like anything I've said is so helpful, but to be honest, I have a lot of trouble reading him myself.

If he's like Sauce though, there's probably a correlation between him being suspicious of me for dumb reasons and being Human!!!

But basically the best strategy is to have the Wolves wolf him to confirm him for us tbh

I have him as null, but I wouldn't be interested in a lynch of him this Day Phase. I think his alacrity and boldness in accusing me might be indicative of him being Human (since this is a new forum and everything), but I don't like how he justified his reads thus far.

In A Series of Unfortunate Wolfings he got vigi'd night 1 for what I'm guessing is not claiming to the alliance fast enough.

From comments in the post game, I thought that was semi-random, actually. :P

It still seems like a separate issue. Most of the time he gets lynched it's for bad post tone. Yeah it was dumb that he asked that question in the IRC, but that's a stronger indication that he does suspicious things if he doesn't have the time to think about them (like in the IRC) but as a wolf he'd spend more time thinking about his posts.

I usually tend to spend a lot of time thinking about my posts, even outside of TWG.

if she replaces out I'll switch back to curry and rice in a heartbeat but when you take into consideration that she's played a champ game and has played multiple turbos, I can only assume that she's folding under pressure as a wolf

I'm curious where all these votes are coming from. Is there any particular reason aside from lack of contribution?

Oh, also another note on Nighty. On LLF, many of our games aren't cardflip games, so bussing is very uncommon there. Nighty isn't really much of a busser. Though, that's not to say that he won't try to fake conversation or pressure a Partner in the thread a bit.

At the time it was a pressure vote because I wanted her to post more reads.

I became fine with it after this post. I wasn't happy with the way she treated Mr. E and particularly Jester last game so her whining about the first person who treats her poorly frustrates me. While I was eating lunch I was going through a process of rationalizing suspecting her (there's no way she's that hypocritical so her reaction must be fake) but that's probably not the explanation.

I'm 90% sure she's town but I know she'll be shitty in the postgame if I'm wrong. Maybe once I'm less angry with her I'll change my vote.

Feels sort of Human to me. Nighty's a bit reserved and very reticent (with respect to emotions than thoughts) in disposition. He's generally pretty unemotional and he isn't one to fake emotion either. That he's angry at Kawamii and voting for her despite feeling she's Human makes me feel like he's sort of Humany for it. The only game from the top of my head where Nighty expressed ire was a C9++ on LLF where I think I caused a Chinese Fire Drill onto a Player that Nighty was reading as Human (which he couldn't attempt to stop since he was away end of Day).

j-rodd's right that Kawamii behaved like this in her last Wolf game with us. I haven't played any Turbos with her (except for one where I was lynched Day 0) so I don't have much meta on her regarding that.

However, based on how she's expressed herself thus far though, I think she's Human. If she had a Wolf Partner, I feel like she would put more effort into the game or at least have asked for a replacement or something. Like, her acting disinterested by choof feels weird, when I would expect her to just react indignantly and call him a "soab" or something; but I guess I thought it was weird of her in the Hydra Game she played with j-rodd and me too.

I think she might have fallen asleep though.

i agree with you mashi, the hydra game was the first one i saw her give up as a wolf because it was known she doesnt self-vote as a wolf, only as a villager, because she doesnt like to let her team down. this was the angleshooty meta i was talking about earlier lol

I would disagree with this a whole lot.
Not to discredit slike at all or anything but I feel like you were the force behind the wolf team. Also I suspected him more throughout the game than I suspected you so that might influence that a little.

I don't have a read on him and I would normally say I wouldn't want to lynch him atm but I don't really have a POE for todays lynch.

I think Mashi's point on him is null tbh though. Were this his first game with Kami I would say it would give him a human lean but, as Kami said, some of this is coming from last game where Nighthawk also did not like some of what Kami said/did.

to clarify, I would normally say I don't want to lynch him because I have slightly better lynches but atm I don't really have those.

he might end up in POE he might not. I'm a bit disappointed in myself thus far but that'll pick up soon as I should be rather active during the EOD.
