                "lynch all liars" is a more sensible metagame strategy at MafiaScum, because all of their games are thread-only. there's no opportunity for a confirmed human to instruct some other player to lie for some express purpose.

                when out-of-thread communication is allowed, someone who has already claimed a power role OR someone in an alliance of guaranteed humans can control another player's actions by writing a PM, sending a Skype message, or yelling at someone on Mumble. that's a very different scenario.
