I'm suspicious of James, now. Sounds like he's trying to mask a possible mafia role with this cause not to "cloud" town's judgement on mafia. It seems like he's giving too much advice.

I feel like innocent child gives overconfidence in what will likely be a failed lynch.

I would prefer a day 1 without an innocent child so there is not so much pressure on one person to perform.

Given the circumstance, I realize this isn't really plausible and as such I want as much to happen before the innocent child weighs in as possible.

@YoshL, From the townspeople's perspective, I feel that the innocent child role is meant to have someone to turn to in times of urgency because he or she is the only person who can really be trusted. From the mafia's perspective, I think that the Innocent Child can either be good or bad depending on how accurate his or her accusations are.

This is the most accurate thing said today.

Innocent child is just a confirmed human day 1. The importance lays in the ability to know that their opinions and information are not being manipulated or anything of the like.

However, if the person doesn't have good accusations, coupled with people blindly following them because they are a confirmed human, it can be just as harmful as it is helpful.

Innocent child is as useful a role as the player behind it.
