A wolf could also lie by not posting "not seer". But we would have to wonder if he is inactive or the seer. Yet, if he has to say he is a seer, we are sure he is claiming to be it. Also, in a 14 players/3 wolves game, wolves can't really afford to lose one of themselves.Comment

Problem NOT solved, cause then we have to argue about which one is the real seer...
Which is why its easier to just determine whom isn't the seer...
But whatever, do either way >.>

Ruritsu: emerald is right about this. It's the traditional way the game is played and it works. Your way works too, but it involves many people posting when it isn't necessary.Comment

If a wolf decides not to come out as "not seer", we would still have to argue on who is the seer. Same thing if someone is inactive and doesn't post. The latter can be removed by doing it the other way.
Also, with cardflipping, if there is 2 claims, we kill one of them and depending of what comes out, we kill the other or not. So it isn't really advantageous for a wolf to go out, since he WILL get killed in the end.Comment

I got nothing whatsoever out of reading the entire second page.
Telling the seer to come out into the open and telling everyone else to call "not seer" are the same thing, except the latter introduces more confusion.
If the seer claims and a wolf counterclaims, what's the difference from everyone except two people calling not seer?
Same scenario either way, except it's a lot less confusing if just one person posts instead of having everyone post.Comment
