Just a quick clarification on how this process is running, and how I originally desired host voting to go:

At twenty votes, a game is "instalynched" (it becomes the game to play)
After 4 days from the date of the thread being posted (days after the timestamp) the game with the most votes becomes the "game to be played"

It is not yet 7/21/17 @2:56 pm, so voting is still valid, however, Sunfan reached 20 votes with lurker's vote (xiz was at 19, as his vote for himself does not count). By the current rules sunfan's game is instalynched.

Nothing against capture, but did you find a way to make people post in the thread for that game?

Last time it was ran, everything happened on slack and xiz was the only person really in the thread just posting phase ends/starts

I thought about it, and I was intending on forcing at least a 1-5 (doubt 5) post requirement in thread a day, but instead thought it would be more beneficial to have like, a discord group where everyone is in, and spectators can watch but can't talk or speak in the call via permissions.

I think the beauty of the game happened outside of the thread over in thread.

Agree, but the thread is kinda a trash game to spectate. Even in discord, most of the game is gonna be played to player.

one thing that has appealed to me from playing on last life is the big reveal at the end of the game, actually

like host doesn't share logs (at least too many) during the game, but then puts a bunch of their favorites in postgame

curated deadchat could work though
