I'm sure there's more, but off the top of my head, you can post at :00, the limit isn't :59 for phase ends now

Then the phase doesn't end at :00 it ends at :01

It is now Day 0. Day 0 will end on Thursday, June 29th at 11PM CST.

Just to put things into perspective, I have a penchant for taking a very literal meaning for the words people post. I do not extrapolate on the data when it's supposed to be fact.

The post above from gadabout says the day ends at 11:00 pm cst.

To me this means when the clock hits 11:00:00 on the dot the phase is over. 11:00:59 is a different time.

I realize this is minutia, but clarifying the little details is necessary to keep things orderly

I always go with not posting at the marker. If it says 11,I try not to post at 11.

And np Manti. I don't really think its outdated, just minor details could be changed.

i think the host should define what words mean

if you prefer "the last minute of the phase is 12:00am server" i can do that, but i've been operating for a while under :00 good, :01 bad (posts ok for mercy but votes don't count), :02+ modkill and i try to remember to post :00 good :01 bad with later votecounts

i think it's conditioned by some people using fennec which runs to the end of the minute you set it to

also if anyone feels like making specific updates or suggestions for updates to the hosting guide i'm sure they're welcome

I talked it over with sunfan and yoshi. And I'm adding this to the handbook:

-----------As a host you have the power to modify the exact time of phase ends to fit you and your players needs, but you must clarify what times are valid and invalid so your players know and can plan for specific phase end scenarios.
