10 posts, if you can't do that chances are you're not contributing elsewhere. I mean when do people fluorish on AIM, it always is the same thing and turns into a ghost town. post 10 one word posts idc, it's a lot better than not enforcing anything

well i already had 6 votes for my game, still 5, i'm just trying to work with the small minority who want to play with AIM. I mean 10 posts in a day phase is such a small amount, most people do anyway and the people who don't are just slacking

                Re: TWG CII: Host Signups

it makes posting a huge chore - that's what makes games inactive. The previous game was good and I can bet that not everyone posted 10 times during a phase.

maybe, maybe not. I can assume that a p[layer is inactive because they're actually busy as opposed to being uninterested or as opposed to purposefully not being active because they're still checking the thread. You don't need to force activity to get reads.

In fact the reason threads are inactive during AIM games is that AIM is more active. But jrodd is complaining about an inactive AIM.

but the past AIM games we've had haven't been active on AIM, that's the point.....

                        Re: TWG CII: Host Signups

the problem with AIM now is that nobody is on the same platform. Homogenize the platform and it'll be fine. Plus, in anonytwg people might have been adverse to using AIM because they'd have to either download something they don't want to download, log out of their original account, use it, etc.

If you don't think people are capable of doing that what makes you think they'll make 10 posts every 48 hours

because if they don't then theyre at risk for being killed, which is the whole point

and all the first games back, minus the past few, have been exclusively AIM, everyone has had that platform it's just such a hassle

then they can die, i don't wanna spend all my time trying to get someone to give their thoughts when they'll be on AIM for like 5 minutes total both days at like 5am, it's legit a hassle. the few games i played on ffya was much better AIMwise but people here have proven the opposite, even when a bunch are online
