My advice: Stay with easy songs until you can move on to harder ****.

In this case you should choose easier $hit than DF, simply because your not at that level yet.

anyway IMO you shouldn't want to be an elitist KB stepper....I mean it's supposed to be a 4 panal dance game.A DANCE GAME. play beatmania, Pop'n, or TDM or sumthing challenging to your fingers/arms.

If you look at all the simfile packs from KBMP to ODI 2 you'll see some evolution in they way most people step.You see people begin to slip away from chaotic steps into the Pitch Relevancy phase where everyone does the same type of file nowadays....>_> therefore you see the same **** over and over again.

PR is a rather Popular technique that is in my opinion stupid for a 4 panel beat game especially when its taken sooo seriously.PR does make a song fun sometimes, but with the limitations of 4 panels it becomes harder to find good songs to step PR wise ,and most files end up looking the same...Seriously there are only so many patterns you can make with 4 panel, witch is why I don't really play/step 4 panel SM anymore its very repetitive and boring.(for me.)

In the end, if you are just doing this for your own sheer pleasure then please just step what you want to step...

But, If you are not doing this only for yourself, and you actually want to serve an audience then there are specific rules you must follow to make an enjoyable 4 panel file (in the elitist's eyes.) Bend to the general conception of what a good 4 panel KB chart is in the public's eyes.

You just gonna become a clone in the end.Well, at least to me.

lol No I DID appreciate that. Initially I was just kinda like "O **** this is gonna turn into a flame war." And presently I'm actually quite capable of stepping DF. I understand PR, layering, etc. DF is actually relatively easy to step cuz the tempo is usually constant with the absence of any strange notes (unlike DT in every way). And almost all the clips in the vid have been revised. That doesn't matter though. I'm done with DF. And, again, CFE was just a bad song choice and wouldn't produce great steps nomatter what.

I knew Torrent for a while now.

He has made stuff for Rf pack 1 and FFR community pack.

Usually he is cool bt I guess he felt like being a dick lol.
