Here's my honest opinion: Your sims are stepped beautifully and I would love to play them. I say keep making them, especially if you're having fun doing so. Your sims look like so much fun to play and just because some people hate dragonforce doesn't mean you should just quit making sims of their songs... I would play your files all the time if I actually had the time. So again, I say keep making them, you're on your way to becoming a great simfile artist =)

I basically just commented on the video saying this.

start stepping other artists because it isn't like you are a bad stepfiler but you end up making the same 16th stream/24th trills/32nds over and over in every file by making dragonforce ****

Holy ****. If you have constructive criticism, such as specific places where he could improve things, then post saying so. If you think the file is a peace of ****, then delete the file and don't play it.
Dragonforce will not make a good file. However, there are obviously people that find files fun in some way. Let them play the file, and move on with your lives. When you get to the point where you have to blatantly make fun of people's files, you really need to stop playing fuking stepmania and go outside once and awhile. It is a game.

I've gone into the editor with one of your files before, your DF file and yea...****load of errors.

Really? Well what would you define as an error? Some places I omitted beats because it'd cause a difficulty inconsistency issue. Or perhaps you're referring to layering? In my DF sims that was generally very selective in effort to prevent overstepping. All the jacks are correct, etc. Obviously with only 4 step options in areas pattern structure and pitch relevance is compromised, but usually not to any considerable extent.

Are these errors attributed to the song choice or the file itself?

Eh, well I was gonna make one last DF sim, but f*ck it. I thought I looked at every single detail and people still say stuff like this.

*sigh* I keep going back and forth with DF. I mean yes parts are very monotonous, but it more than makes up for it with the solo's IMO. And their newer stuff has more variety. I just don't know, guys .

Choose something else to step. It doesn't really matter if their newer stuff has more variety, the fact remains that it's still dragonforce and when you want critiques, you'll keep getting "lol dragonforce".
Maybe try stepping a different genre of music altogether, like jazz or whatever.

Dude I tried stepping some DT and OMFG it must take like 80 hours to make a perfect DT sim no joke!!! Those constant tiny little tempo changes and excessive skittle notes make it take forever!!!! It's liek an endless project. So I gave up. No way that effort would pay off IMO.

But yes a different genre would be a nice change. The only thing stopping me is that I actually have a lot of people that love my DF sims. I was initially pretty oblivious, but through like youtube, PMs and other stuff, I've found that a lot of people really enjoy them. There are always those lol-DF-sucks people to balance things out though .

WTF makes it horrible? Fluent transitions, layered when the guitar isn't too creative, pitch relevant, trills according to the drum rolls. Hell, with a comment like yours I wouldn't be surprised if you produce crap yourself.
