i prefer DDR over ITG. the songs are better, and you don't have to push four arrows at once. itg does seem a bit hard. . .

just get itg cause u have the best ddr game which is max 2 (everybody knows that) and u might not know any of the songs on there, but just play all the songs and you will get hooked on a bunch of songs, and there all not american stupid mtv songs so ur in good hands with itg.

ITG is harder in general. For example, a 5 on ITG would be like a 6 on DDR.

There both good games. I wouldn't pick and say one is better then the other. I think all music games are fun.

My B-Day is coming up and I am wondering whether to ask for In The Groove or not. I have DDRMAX 1 and 2 and Extreme for the PS2 and the hardest song I can pass is Max 300 (working on Legend of Max :P). So is In The Groove for real good players?

ITG is a good game. You should get it because if you play long enough, your stamina will increase dramatically, and Max 300 wont be nothing to you in the future. You'll end up at least AA'ing it.

I'm not very familiar with ITG but I like DDR better. I think ITG is even more difficult than DDR does.

Since I don't play for fun anymore, I would go with ITG.
