Yeah cause like DDR sux lol. They only have good songs with like one or 2 good steps charts like PSMO and cartoon heros are like the best step charts on ddr. As of itg most of them make sense with the song and go with the overall beat of the song.

I play both ITG and DDR, and they're both fun in their own way. ITG is a little more challenging and has more options, and DDR has a hard-to-beat soundtrack. Granted, a lot of the songs on DDR are easy, but there's just something about them that make you want to play them again and again. I don't think either system is better than the other, overall. I like them both better than Pump it Up, though. I can't get used to the 5-panel "13579" pads.

wow u all suck at crossovers then psmo is about an 11 on itg anyway, and yes ITG has easier songs but the point of playing itg is pretty much to do 11s and up so yeah, you should probly be able to at least AA some 10s or A psmo.

No, I just abandoned DDR for a few months then went back to pass PSMO. I used to suck at crossovers though. I kept playing Summer and Mythology to get better at them.

Putting in my own input. I own 2 machines, ITG, Supernova, DDRE. The Super Nova and DDRE is in one machine, you have to switch drives. Don't ask me how I got them, I have alot of connections and good money. Anyways.

DDR is for beginers that are just learning. Saying that I have to refer to ITG, ITG also has an exelent beginers program. ITG can be played by people just starting and learn fast with its programing.

But! In terms of difficulty and such, ITG takes the gold anyday.

1-ITG has overall harder and faster songs. Refering to the basics as Vertex2(squared) and Legend of Trance(modified from card).
2-ITG includes not only steps, but hands must be used. Pressing a continueous 3 step combos in some songs.
3-As a machine, ITG has better programing. DDR has lots of trouble in compatibility and only accepts DDR approved songs. ITG allows you to install songs you've created or found. Even on my machine i've put a couple stepmania songs on it. Of course completing an actual Stepmania song with your feet is a whole nother story
4-DDR has mostly same step combinations. Rarely showing an 8th step.
5-Almost forgot about the mods. ITG has a massive ammount of mods and options you can add. Everything from boomerang to alternate. Having your arrows fade out is about all you can do in DDR. In ITG you can have arrows Boomerang while blinking in an alternate setting with the arrows spinning and shaking from side to side as a regular step pattern.

Thats just my input. I don't know if it helps much, but I vote ITG.

itg is better cause u got easier songs, and then when u get better u can play the harder songs without buying two games.

ITG is better, and i know people that travel 40 miles on weekends to play an ITG machine fortunately I have one 2 miles away.

Dance Dance Revolution all the way. It was what I played first, it has a much better song selection, It's the reason I even found out about SM, and came to bemanistyle... Oh, wait. That part was my mom But that's another story.

Plus they put Grandolin in Ultramix 4!!!

I prefer ITG personally. Although I don't have much experience in the matter. DDR or ITG. I've had ITG and all the DDR pack for about 2 weeks now. So I'm still new to it.

DDR/ITG is a whole different thing from SM. SM/FFR is fun but DDR/ITG is so much more energy consuming.

So did I. I passed a lot of 12's before PSMO. Delirium, Tell, Euphoria, and Vertex.

i did that and passed pandemonium. IGT2 is harder thatn anything else with the mods. the marathons r incredibly hard.
