    Re: new category for FFR

That's what I was planning on doing, Emithith. Honestly it doesn't even have to be a community project, I can just start doing it. It shouldn't take that long to make a lot of technical files. As far as the rest of the files that imitate FFR files, I suppose we could do the music...but if I make a file with the For FFR rolls in it like five or six times for practice, would we really want to have the music loop five or six times to go with it?

I know but like even for the specific songs I was hoping to make files that played that part a few times, so would we want looping music for that part too? Or just the file?

I like the idea, recently i started stepping "practice" files to a metronome beat. Like a file for trills, rolls, jacks, etc.

Only one i have so far is 240 bpm trills, first half is just 4 note mini-trills going from one pattern to the next to help with trill transitions. The second half is long trills for 1 and 2 hands to help practice accuracy and trill stamina.

Going to be making all sorts of files to practice other things on. Maybe when i make enough for different speeds i can start a custom engine with them on there and give out the link :>

Emithith: In the SM file editor, there's the capability to go to a specific measure in the song, and then play the song from that measure. Aside from syncing purposes, you can also use it to practice bits of a file.

loop the music, some people have a hard time playing blank noise. They also need the connection between the keytaps and the song.

Valid point. I suppose I will loop the music then. I guess I'll start making these files.

Bumping this thread with this as an attempt to start something..

I got the isolations from: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...d.php?t=115031

I still need to figure out a couple more things regarding isolations, but this could sort of get interesting if people actually care..

                      Yes/No/Maybe? Ideas?

Well I guess you have it pretty much taken care of... All I can see us really needing are some submissions of certain files requested by the general public.

Yeah, I'll probably get on this if people actually show interest about it. The last isolation thread wasn't incredibly popular regardless of how informative was the post so, yeah.. just waiting to see if it's alright so far.

lol, I believe Rubix didn't get RunnyMorning because that jack section was close enough of the beginning of the file.
