have to bump here. nothing is working to fix how bad ffr runs on my comp. i have a standalone flash player and it sucks just like the ingame browser. nothing above a 7 is possible. also i know it isn't the computer itself or the internet connection.

Have you tried gamebooster? I don't know much else I can offer for help for that issue. Maybe post your comp specs and someone may know a way to do something with that. Idk

What flash standalone do you have? In my own experience, Flash 9 standalone works better than Flash 8 standalone. My OS is Vista.

i have 8 thats the one linked in this thread. ill go get 9 and see if it makes a difference

I just want to clear something up about logging into a different account (switching accounts) to play Standalone FFR.
To log into the other account:
1. LOG OUT. (very important, yess?)
2. CLICK FFR'S HOME BUTTON (The banner in the top left works, too.)
3. USE THAT LOG IN FIELD IN THE TOP RIGHT.

In my experience, if you log out, and use the log in field in the forum area it doesn't log you in. You get logged out, and have to go back and log in. Hope this helps.

well standalone 9 fixed all the lag but now i'm just hitting random goods where i know i'm hitting perfects and theres no reason for it since all the lag is gone.

I bet that's the offset. I had that problem until I nagged Velocity to add the offset feature in his engine. Try that.

It might even be Keyboard Lag.

soo...i have an awesome problem..for two days now i cannot get into chat. it keeps showing me the login failed every single time. i dont like it very much haha.

I think you should also add a download link to Flash Player 9. I've heard players having issues with 8 too, and 9 works better for me.
