I have a 2001 Dell with 256 MBs of RAM with DSL that's not even that fast. I also have XP. I never if barely get any lag on ffr ever.

I still remember your frustration vid you posted of the ubertrill.

5 second long trill not synced to anything... And then, when you finally did nail it, you always had goods at random points before. Like 6 Goods before a 250 combo or something like that... I dunno.

I hate that song though. Only fun part is the runningmen. The pseudo jumpstream runningmen are ridiculous. No idea how you masters hit that kind of crap while maintaining your PA.

Any advice as to what I should do to practice for stuff like that xD?

The trill was the easy part. The song is not one bit difficult. I made that vid to show i could get the trill on any attempt.

You said the beginning was slightly off sync, and the trill was just stupid back when it was your Divisions tourney song.

Finally master your pseudo jump-mashing technique to nail the trill though? Cool.

Again, what recommendations do you have to get better at FFR. I think I heard a rumor you played some rhythm game that requires 8 fingers? o_0

Ok, i am going to start uploading that video. I am doubtful that the quality would be clear enough to notice tiny little skips on the screen while the table is shaking a little. So i took a video of ffr in a browser and then of the 800kb ffr.exe version.

I'm not looking for some sort of 'trick', I'm looking for something more challenging. Something that will force me to improve quickly if I need to be good at it. I would hope something like that would improve my reading and timing abilities to where when I return to FFR my skills would be far greater than they are now.

Has anyone ever tried O2Jam? I'm thinking of finding it to give it a shot. Some of those YouTube videos look crazy hard. Death Piano doesn't have **** on some those files.

Good luck finding a working o2jam, site closed down some time ago.

Anyway, also try playing on high xmods. If you're on 1.25, try to get used to 1.5, it really make a difference, believe me.

Also play Stepmania.

O2Mania is the offline version, if I remember correctly. Get that. I doubt it will help at all, but it is fun. xD

we working on a solution... we're aware of the multiple threads and plenty of users having issues. we apologize that this has happened, but if we have security issues with the game, they need to be addressed. and we're trying to find a solution that both addresses it and prevents lag.

I play on 2x speed and can probably AAA up to Difficult by now. AAA'ed many Tricky's. Decent PA on Challenging.

Gonna look into O2Mania, thanks Commander.

Also, I hate StepMania. Last time I tried it (some years ago) I could never find decent songs. All the ones on the site sucked, and I could never figure out how to use songs downloaded from here :/.

Bad memories = bad experience.

Definitely number 4 for me, and when you have the kind of PA I have, the small lag spikes are detrimental to AAAs and overall progress.
