Meh, now that i think of it. Still a good idea, but I think this won't happen. People already think of teams as 'stupid'. It's rather fun. Team wars and absorbtions and stuff, but i doubt people take it that serious that admins will impliment a system for it.

Yeah I agree too, but if the guild thing is in your profile, people would want other people to see this information just so that they can show off because most users like showing off their skill tokens and tokens.. If this is out, they'll surely want to show off their rank in some guild.

Is there any reason why guilds/clans should even exist?

Unity between online friendship.

That's real important to me, only because I don't have many real friends.

Otherwise: just for the fun of it. There are people who think its worthless and stupid. There are probably equal amounts of people who love the idea of being proud of a group accomplishment. That's all.

Support. I think there should be a limited number of guilds, but Admins or Guild Mods could create a new guild if enough support went behind a guild in the making, even if all the guild slots were full.

Also, what about the removal of dead clans? Do they just sit on the list? Or do they get removed after a certain period of time?

There are plans to implement features similar to this in 3rd Style. How it will operate, however, isn't mapped out yet.
