On a good day I'll play for about 34 hours a day, yes 34, because my days are longer than most peoples >.>

On a bad day, like, 4 hours.

an hour or more before school and probably 2 hours after school

once schools out, from the time i wake up til the time i go to bed probably every day until my mom gets rid of the computer =]

But I guess if you want to waste 6 hours a day when you could just go outside and get in the fresh air, then FFR is the way to go.

If you want to get better play in tournaments. If you don't want to play in tournaments try to AAA easy songs and work up in difficulty. Long story short, whore songs until your accuracy improves. Auto-fail is too frustrating for me to use and causes tension but if you can deal with it, use it.

Other than that do what everyone else said: play more, play less, and, most importantly, switch to spread.

Edit: and yeah, I play maybe 1-2 hours a day on average...

I stopped caring about improving ages ago, so only like 20 minutes a day, sometimes close to and 30 or 45 minutes. Depends on if I think I can improve on a score or something.

lol. I play 2 hours during school and in the summer, it's all switching from Stepmania, playing on Pad, and FFR for like 4 hours. Pretty sad, isn't it?

This bothers me because all you ever hear from the top players or any player is "Practice" but you CAN give good advice for FFR.

Distinctive key hits is one. Make loud, distinctive, key hits. Hit them hard.
Pound them as hard as you would pound a puny ass cellmate after 10 years in the slammer.

It helps you keep your timing and somewhat... predict the arrows.

Oh, and screen shrinking. Its kind of like a speed mod in a way. If you have to react faster you may hit the keys more accurate. You dont have time to hit arrows early if you cant see them until 1 to .5 seconds before they appear.

I play about anywhere form 0-7 hours. I have no tips on how to be better. I play left scroll. Left hand: thumb down arrow, index up arrow. Right hand: index 2 middle 6 on number pad. Gg for me. Good luck.
