I'm 100% certain that can be biologically proven to be impossible. Human leg muscles are too big to move that quickly, period.

Was just wathing Leno last night, the current grand champion tap dancer hit just about 175 taps in 15 seconds. Which works out to 12.3333 taps a second.

40 taps is impossible lol.

12 taps per second is 180 bpm 16th streams, and people do faster stuff than that on ITG machines. I know some people can do 200 bpm, but I don't know about anything faster.

38 / 2 = 19. 19 taps per second with 1 foot.

However, you have to take into account that tapping with two feet is different than tapping with one foot.

and about ur 8-10 being hard to believe, i actualy CAN do 12 taps in a second with my thumbs. only by vibrating of course. i show people all the time and no one else can do it. It is IMPOSSIBLE to do almost 3 times that speed unless you have some physical deformity...

wow, i'd like to see that in a vid. anyone have links to people passing fast songs on pad? i saw a strangeprogram video where the guy makes it past the first pause and fails soon after.

edit: fast meaning like 190 or higher.

and if anyone could tap 40 times per second with ONE foot, they could get a combo higher than max forever in just over one minute with one foot. not too plausible. lol.

Ok, seeing this I understand my credability is shot for the statement about the guy who does 40 with one foot, but I still will try to find the site, and find my error, and get some of my credability back. Unfortunately my history deletes daily, so this is going to be rough.

Now I have yet another question, off topic, but surfaced here, and I think this is one that is critical to the game itself and all admins and mods. This should be cleared up so that even the most "special" person can get it.

Of course, I will search before starting a thread and blah blah blah, you get it.

First the question, then I'll continue with the site searching.

yeah but you gotta consider if anyone could even move that fast they would probly get sooo tired very fast =p cause thats amazing to do to begin with even for a short period of time

It seems like you could use one hand to hit the keyboard arrows and another hand to hit the keypad arrows. Then you'd be hitting the arrows "twice as fast", so to speak.

Then again, I'm not good enough at this game to know if this would work or not. Anyway that screenshot on the first page was omginsane.
