I think this file would be a lot more fun if there was not the jack glitch as there are lots of repeating eighths that can easily mess you up.
I combo'd those jacks first time I played it. There's nothing uncomboable about those jacks, and there's nothing harder about them than any other jack of comparable speed.
Also, someone said something about "be glad it's not all jumpy."
THAT MUST BE WHY I LIKED IT. BECAUSE IT DIDN'T ABUSE JACKS FOR DIFFICULTY, AND INSTEAD COUNTED ON IT'S 200+ BPM 16ths SCROLLING AT FFR SPEED FOR DIFFICULTY.
Next time I do a sim, it's going to be a generic, 160BPM, completely indexable, streamy, child-safe, nonflammable sim. I'll even file down the sharp corners. Sound good?
please dont
I actually like the more difficult to index things sometimes. Just don't go out of your way to make a file hard on index (ie don't put weird crossovers forr no other reason than to make it hard for indexers).
so um... I got permission for this song over a year ago, forwarded it to ld, which I know he received, as he later asked me about it, as well as sending my own file for it. It's entirely possible that the file was garbage (it was ok as I remember it), and I haven't played this one yet to compare.
I just find it funny that this slipped through the cracks.
same mistake I made when I first stepped this song and that pfx made when he did... following the drum machine when it's the ****ed up guitar-keyboard or whatever that's more interesting, if less crazy.
seems like a case of too much .5x music to me. sixteenths for drums run into sixteenths for melody and the simfile player can't tell where the transition is. shoulda simplified it.
