    Forgot to respond to this.

When you first start DDR you improve really REALLY fast. Pretty much every time you play a song you'll do better than the time before. Guaranteed. Unless you break your leg or something.

You only really need a score tracker when this isn't the case anymore and you need to know what your best is on a bunch of songs. For most players, this happens when they start clearing Heavy songs.

There are hard standards (Orion 78 Civ Mix is the hardest Standard song that's not a Max, and everyone forgets about it.) But 9 or 10 hard songs on standard don't warrant having EVERY song on standard.

I have another question. Should we make a comment on our scores if we were to use speed or other mods while playing the song?

EDIT: Never mind. I looked at the list again and didn't see that score.

Yup! Just go back and submit the score again, but uncheck the box that says "Don't overwrite my score if this one isn't better" or something like that. It will overwrite the score no matter what.

uh, this wouldn't be for ddr scores made on sm? because I rarely go to the arcade since it's hella expensive and sm is free.

Nope, they have to be at the arcade. The timing between these mixes are different, so the accomplishment isn't as impresive.

I've played DDR once in my life (it was a home version).

I failed like... Long Dark Forest on standard. 5-6 footer.

                          I refused to play light.
                          RIP

um ld you can set sm to ddr timing...

and besides even at the arcade things are different. the life bar on a Max2 machine, for example is WAY easier than the life bar on an extreme machine.

                              1) But then we have issues of keyboard scores being way easier to get than arcade scores. We don't want people to have to prove that they were playing SM with a pad - that's difficult to do. Arcade just makes it easier.

                              2) If you're having difficulty clearing Song X, chances are your score on Song X isn't going to be impressive.

I put in a few scores I that I could remember the exact steps and freezes and etc etc.. I'm going to arcades tonight so I'll take a few pics there and write scores down.
