I don't know, the whole making FFR not only FFR thing still seems weird.
It'd be like you're playing Halo, but there's an option in the game to play Call of duty instead.
Why can't you just play call of duty in the first place? let people who want to play ffr play ffr, and people who want to play other flash games go onto
armor games/kongregate/newgrounds/one of the other many flash game websites. There's no need to mix the two.

Do realize, though, that there was more than just straight-up FFR some years ago. This included R2, Spin it Up, and some random subscribers-only flash game if I remember correctly....

Was actually working on a multiplayer tournament but then I get comments like this one

oh dang that woulda been sweet So is there any chance of this tournament still happening, i would loooooooove for that to see the light of day and it would be appreciated by many!

There's no problem with being new here, gives you lots of opportunities to learn new things. :d
But yeah, SiU was a mouse-based rhythm game, and R2 was much like StepMania where people made simfiles freely to whatever music they felt like (the second of these will never come back due to the illegality of the music used, as far as I know).

Aaaand another hope-filled thread is officially going nowhere for a short while~

I'd like to but everything seems to be a bit chaotic right now. I never even know about any of the events that have popped up as of late, for all I know someone could be working on one already.

My half-serious question still stands: since I don't recall it being mentioned, what's the opinion out there on widgets? I know some people hated them, but it's worth discussing perhaps...

FYI "Game Manager" is just my custom title (and it just looks like a real title lol), not site officilal title or something so you don't need to care about that. As for "real" game manager, aka who have access for song editor, bmah, nois-or-e, psychoangel are the ones (it's just not shown on the forum).

Tournament song addition was fine since basically I've told which songs would be used, and it was convenient for both of us. With the same reason nois is adding songs for recent events too. Also, bmah is basically a backup when I'm not able to do stuff.

Is that so? Well then. They aren't bad for rock bands we do have permission for without the masses getting irritated about long rock songs haha.

A lot of the permissions were through DrugstoreCowboy, and those were called into question when he peaced out from FFR.
I don't think the widgets themselves had legal issues, merely that the groups we had widgets for were largely DrugstoreCowboy permissions.
