unless they fixed things since i last checked, the numbers make it seem like they should work the same but they just don't. life 6 on ssc seemed to be much closer to 4 on 3.9.

according to me from over a year ago:

i played a song on 3.95 life 4 and didn't touch anything, failed after 10 misses. did the same thing on sm-scc and failed after 16. i played sm-scc again but with life 6 and this time failed after 10 misses.

i also passed push it to the limit on ssc j4 l4 so... yea...
