Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. We had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossoms had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two. I am a fan of uniqueness. I breathe it, I worship it. Contrary to popular belief, we all are not unique. We still have cliques and we are human. Uniqueness is rare and hard to find, but when it is found you know it. Unique is not just a word. It is not just an adjective to explain a person. Unique is a person. It is being and it is existence. Uniqueness is not only human, but it is inhuman. I know uniqueness. I have dined, I have kissed, I have seen unique. You sir, you ma'am are not unique. Your randomness, your intelligence, your beauty is useless. Unique lasts forever. Your qualities however, will lie in your grave by your side. Uniqueness never dies. Uniqueness is immortal.
