And they lived happily ever after.
these are the words that
as children end our stories.
these are the words that
we learn will never end our lives.
As humans we hold onto these words,
living our lives, so we can have
the happy ending.
Walking around waiting for love at first sight
not realizing that its right in front of you.

Then its too late.
Too late, because starting over is nowhere near.
Too late because her eyes show no emotion
when they look into yours.
Too late because you let her slip away
and time has not been your friend.
And they lived_____Ever after
apart.
