Invested in a Creative card with ASIO drivers that have 10ms latency currently set.

Doing a MIDI conversion was kind of bothersome, so I went with a USB MIDI keyboard instead, which also has ASIO options.

The MIC was so I could throw in my own vocals if I ever feel like it, or just to do sampling if I want.

The headphones are so I can listen to naughty videos without the neighboors knowing. Nah, it's actually so if I need to record something, it won't have any impact on the recording ( okay okay, it's for the naughty videos :( )

The sustain pedal I got to use it if I ever get into piano more as a replacement for any traditional version.

As for costs:

$99 for the headphones

$104 for the card

$99 for the mic

$99 for the keyboard

~$40 for the sustain pedal

Save the card and the headphones, it's all pretty much M-Audio goodness. Tried the MIC out and damn is it nice. Beats the hell out of the old one that picked up wind like nobody's business :p

So this afternoon everyone at the office was getting ready for a meeting. The others were trying to battle each other to the gayest (and yes, I mean in the sense of homosexual in nature) song on youtube. After a few runs, I notice the meeting is going to get started and offer one last entry.
