This Heart of Mine
I’ve locked it,
Patched it,
Grown thorns around it,
Taped it,
Sewn it,
And even set it a flame,
But somehow you keep getting though it,
By getting though it you’re getting to me
And you’re even trying to heal it,
So I will let you in,
But not all the way,
Into this heart of mine you’re trying to fix.
