I will probably be playing D5/6/7/8 each round and maybe some D4 if I think it will help me out.

--------------------------------------------------------Round 1--------------------------------------------------------

D5: Walking the Streets of a Former Hell
14-0-0-1
Well I really don't enjoy SSH songs so I only gave it one play through.

D6: NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A [[BIG SHOT]] (gomotion RMX)
23-0-2-6
23-1-2-3
Was a fun song and file I don't think I can improve this anytime soon!

D7: The Lady is a Trump
53-2-7-9
58-2-5-17
Another song I'm not a big fan of, but the file was fun and hard. I've played through a few times and never got close to this score again.

D8: Excuse My Rudeness, but Could You Please RIP? (t+pazolite Remix) [Explicit]
211-33-41-61
160-26-34-45
Way out of my ability to read but really enjoyed the song

95-9-21-25
Kind of cool to see how much I've improved during the tourney. Jump glutes or chordjacks... whatever these are to you... still one of my weaker points but improved quite a bit!

--------------------------------------------------------Round 2--------------------------------------------------------

D5: GLAZ
11-0-0-3
Seems like my timing isn't synced well for this song... I was getting goods in very easy spots
5-0-0-0
Yea switched my offset from judge offset to global offset and that feels much better

D6: Janus
28-0-8-5
Jacks. Ugh.

D7: safe_state
75-3-6-8
Well I'm terrible at jacks we all know that... but felt very smooth in this file. I thought it was over before it was and dumped 2/3 misses there I think

D8: UR+ MusicEater LV99
400-9-56-31
Wow that was hard... I think with proper warm up and a day where my endurance is good I can fix this up a decent bit.

116-12-36-39
So fun seeing my improvements

--------------------------------------------------------Round 3--------------------------------------------------------

Division 5: The Friendly Wolf (Part 1)
25-2-1-6
18-0-0-2
15-0-0-1
Long song... lots of dead space and just bursts to mess up... well I think that's the best I can do. I keep like getting losing focus during the slow parts lol

Division 6: Micro Media Broth
69-4-10-18
Well more jacks and a long song and chiptuney 8-bit..... not really a file I would go back to.

Division 7: Apocaliptix
173-3-18-2
80-9-4-15
Super fast, but definitely my favorite file of the round. Yea tried it again and wow it's so fun and such a fun song. I wish D5b had this later in the tourney!

Division 8: Schwerkraft

--------------------------------------------------------Round 4--------------------------------------------------------

Well somehow I've made it this far. I haven't played this rounds song yet but some people are saying it's very hard so I'm not entirely sure I'll be able to make it to top 16... only time will tell!

D5: Evanescent
8-0-1-0
5-1-0-1
4-0-0-0
Finally a file with patterns I enjoy and a song I can play more than a few times lol

D6: Sapling
74-3-3-6
24-5-0-9
This was also super fun, the breaks between each like... stream? burst? was annoying at first but I started to enjoy it

D7: Boxel Adventure
153-5-20-22
The dreaded trills

D8: Neko Nadetai

--------------------------------------------------------Round 5--------------------------------------------------------

D5: Keep Shredding, Little Man!
11-1-6-6
16-0-2-4
16-1-1-4

Fun song and file, the jacks are a slow enough speed to hit with either hand. Ending is much harder than the beginning, I should probably ISO it.

Well I don't think I'll be able to improve this score. Not really mental blocked just yet, it just has some weird patterns that my hands don't enjoy hitting. Plus my bad PA still holds me back on the easier sections as well.

D6: PUPA
62-3-9-8
30-8-7-7

I enjoyed this file, sort of jump glut-y and pretty back heavy as well.

D7: Comatose State
124-12-17-33
79-4-18-22

Very fast jump stream bursts? Not entirely sure lol

--------------------------------------------------------Round 5--------------------------------------------------------

D5: The Everlasting Calamity That Shifts The Time - Space Continuum On A Nanosecondal Basis
11-1-14
Split rolls are the devil, I won't be able to beat this score and it was sightread...

--------------------------------------------------------Round 6--------------------------------------------------------

D5: Boulafacet
13-3-1-14
9-0-2-8
Well, not my best patterns in the game, but slow enough for me to be able to read and hit them pretty consistently.

--------------------------------------------------------Round 7--------------------------------------------------------
D5: Angel's Ladder
16-1-3-9
18-2-0-10

It's the same difficulty as the previous round which I find very strange and was really hoping for a harder song... However it does test a lot of different patterns than the previous round. I enjoy the song and file as well. There are parts I wish I was able to do better but all in all I have a solid score and can't be mad at a top 3 finish.

  1. Let's goooooo gl with the tourney :)
