To participate in a tournament, you have to sign up for it. If you would like to sign up for an unofficial tournament (run by FFR users who aren't part of staff), then you post in the tournament thread that the tournament is being run in. If you would like to sign up for an official tournament, then you have to wait until the next official tournament begins, which will probably be in six to eight months from now. The directions for how to sign up in an official tournament will be posted either on the front page or in the next official tournament thread. :) I hope I answered your question!
