   nyaaaaaahahahahaha, refer to www.dothack.com for the extensive storyline and history of this entertainment (as in all sorts like video games/books etc) series, .hack sign is the story of the birth of the master AI of the Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game aka The World, this is before .hack ROOTS or DUSK (aka Legend of the Twilight Bracelet aka Udeden), or the first game series .hack//, but there are stories of the World before this, sort of a boring and incomprehensible anime in the beginning but the ending is satisfying in a weird way
