I know i can be a hard person to love,
with so many moods and emotioons
shifting without warning.

I'm so used to doing things in my
own way that sometimes i forget
your way might be different.

I forget the common courtesies
of being in a relationship ~
like asking how you feel
and telling you how i feel.

I get so caught up in the to-do list
of the day i neglect the part of me
that only wants to kiss you
and cuddle in your arms.

And this is just to ask you
to please be patient with me,
because even though the "busy me"
can go off in my own world...
