Adolf Hitler wasn't powerful at all.
Germany was ruined after WWI. They needed a leader that would bring them back as a powerful country and such. Hitler seemed to have came along right at this time, so Germany didn't care about what they were doing, they only wanted to maintain german pride and rise again as a powerful country.
Hitler was abused as a child, declined from art school 3 times, and he didn't finish high school. his mother died when she had a jewish doctor, and he blamed the jews for the embarassing lost of WWI.
It was simply psychology that got Hitler at that point of extreme anti-semitism, and simply the tattered pride of germany that caused them to follow him.
Do you honestly think people would've done the same thing today? No. People are smarter now. Hitler could've been cured, but his psychoticism was his downfall, thus why he committed suicide when he knew he lost.

The reich was pointless, but interesting.
Mein Kampf wasn't about just moral hate, but the very diary of a psychotic man with a twisted childhood.
And slavery makes all humanity look bad.
You should like the movie Hitler: The rise of evil.
Nazism doesn't exist anymore, you're simply a racist, since the germans today are nothing how they were years ago.
