Also, a word of advice. I dunno whether you play one handed or spread, but I strongly advise playing two-handed. If you play 1H like I did, you'll get better, sure, but you'll more than likely hit a wall and not be able to improve. And trying to switch to spread after being so used to one hand is a BITCH, I promise you. Play around with keymapping as well. I play ASKL, meaning the left arrow is the A key, and so on in the same respect.
tl;dr - Ask me questions if you have them, and play 2-handed if you dont.

Yeah, other people have been having trouble with that as well. Click "settings" in the top right of the FFR gamescreen and make sure the keys are mapped to what you want. Try playing in low quality (Q in the top right, you'll have to click it a few times for it to do anything). Try other songs, see if maybe its just that one song. Thats all I can really think of right now. If it continues, go ask the forums. You'd want to post in FFR R1 Bugreport and Suggestions. Or you can ask prochat (profile chat), though theyre a bit.. edgy lol. Hope some of this helps.
