Woo, I'm back! After that 6 month tournament ban resulting in me becoming really rusty. Oh well, my goal is to reach at least the top 8. Anyway wish me luck haha :D

Round 1 - Spoken Story (11-0-0-2)

I did not expect a Thingerthing track on here whatsoever, but I'm glad their work is in here. :D

The file itself is pretty funky and I like it especially the ending, I might go for an AAA for this one just cuz I really like both the song and the file.

Nevermind, the file just isn't for my brain, I'm glad I somehow passed the first round lol

A lil rant, feel free to ignore this:

Welp, I got banned from participating FFR events for a year for not providing an old Quaver profile I don't play on anymore because I didn't even think of it when signing up for the OT and later on when I got informed of my ban, I thought that my profile was insignificant since my last actual playtime was over 2 years ago and it didn't reflect my current skill. But rules are rules, I made a mistake not listing my old profile. This ban quite demotivated me a lot since I had so much fun in the OT and would love to join other events. I might quit temporarily in the near future cuz of it, however that doesn't mean I hate the game now or whatever in that sense. In fact I still love FFR and the community and I have nothing against the staff team. If I was in the position of a staff member, I might have done the same thing if I saw someone playing extremely well that it looked suspicious. So ever since my ban I thought of another way to play FFR, so I'm making this checklist of accomplishments I would like to achieve at some point! Sorry for this dumb rant, but to anyone reading this, thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day or night :D
Update: I just got informed that my ban has been shortened to 6 months instead of a year for which I'm very grateful for the staff team. This means I will be able to participate in events starting roughly in late January including OT18. :D To be honest, this just boosted me with a lot of motivation, however I still might not play as much due to school starting soon. Anyway once again thank you staff team for shortening my ban and to anyone reading this, have a nice day or night :D

Heyo, the OT has started, so I decided to type down my thoughts so far :D

Round 1 - Ember (4-0-0-0)

This song is awesome! The stepfile is fine too, but I for some reason can't play longer files. Nothing against the file, it's only a skill issue, also I'm too lazy to AAA this file :p
Good enough, 4 RGs are fine to me :]

Round 2 - Funkle Phil (6-0-0-1)

Another 3 minute file, oof, not my thing :p
But I love this song, it sounds awesome, might check out this band later :D
I'll try to get a better score, this low SDG ain't gonna cut it for me. (Welp, I guess I didn't :p)

Round 3 - Crises (6-0-0-1)

Okay song, okay file, just that I can't actually focus cuz of this damn hot weather we've been having lately, god.

Round 4 - CATre*2 Recollection (4-0-0-1)

Tbh with you, the last trill part is the easiest part, the file overall is kinda fun, however the song is just too annoying to listen to. I had to turn off the sound to even play this file, cuz I couldn't stand the annoyingly sharp melody. If I remember, I'll try to get a better score :p
And better score I got, how the hell did I get first place this round O_O

Round 5 - Connected World (7-1-0-2)

This file makes me so nervous for some reason, probably cuz of those trill bursts. They are quite nerve-wracking haha. I'll probably come back to this to get a better score, but for now I'll pass lol
I'm happy with second place on this one, Brownie got an insane run that I just couldn't beat, good job :)

Round 6 - Termination of Desires (20-0-0-2)

This is probably the hardest 63 I've ever played. I definitely don't think this is a 63. Or maybe it actually is and I'm just bad. Either way, I need to practice this one a lot :p
So I'm going to take back my statement I had here, the file is fun, however there are just some weird diff spikes that can kill your run easily and that's such a big setback in how fun the file is to play.
I'm happy with my score, but I wish I could've gotten a better score :p

Round 7 - Shamshir -rough Pt.2- (6-1-0-3)

I love this file so much. This is so much fun to play and it is in my main skillset :D
Piano solos are either the best files to play or they pull some BS and I ragequit after a few secs of playing lol

Round 8 - VECTOR (8-0-0-2)

This is it. The final round. Shit's about to get real.
Okay, so the song is really good, it fits well as boss music (fitting for the finale lol).
The file? At first I got pretty frustrated, but eventually once I got used to it, it became really fun and challenging! I still gotta work out some parts, but overall this is an amazing pick for the finale (at least in this bracket).
Anyway I wish you good luck Beagereaver, megaman and the rest of the finalists in this OT! :)
