Yeah AAAs are always tough. For me it's always been a mental battle. It takes a certain amount of focus but not focusing too hard, especially since my nerves have always been a problem for me when going for AAAs. It all comes down to practice though and improvements are always possible. One of the main reasons I became addicted to rhythm games is because of the fact that you can always improve further. Especially games like this where new files continue to be released.

In my opinion it's definitely better to focus on accuracy. Learning to actually read the notes is important for improvement as well as developing the correct muscle memory for certain patterns. If you start mashing and just going for combo you'll develop the wrong muscle memory which is hard to get out of.

Yes, in terms of total score (the score that will be added to your grandtotal). On leaderboards and tournaments only raw scoring is taken into consideration which better accuracy would give you a better score. That way someone can't just mash through a song and get like 200 boos FC and win against someone who didn't full combo.

It's always good to set goals, it's pretty much the only thing that keeps me playing lol. And yeah for score it's all about the combo. A song with I think about 650ish notes will get you about 1 million points if you full combo.

Thanks! It definitely took a long time to accumulate that score, but I grind for score every now and then by playing songs like VS Boss Battle and vrofl over and over to get a lot of score quickly, but even so it still takes a long time lol. Lately I've just been going through and playing all the songs again in order from easiest to hardest :P
