FFR RANK UNDER 400!! (TEMPORARILY) Posted on: September 11, 2016, at 07:45:29pm Yea, I didn't play much today, but apparently, my fingers allowed me to play well today getting good scores from Rave 1, Devil Plays Dance Games, and STRAWBERRY SWEETZ; which also allowed me to level up to 74, and made me fairly close to the borderline zone of D6, which is scary!! :O EDIT: Here are the plays I did in 10 minutes. Also, first quarter of junior year on high school is coming to a close, two weeks until fall break as of now. As usual, my GPA is maintained at over 3.5, so I'll end the quarter with all As and two Bs if English doesn't collapse to a C. :/ I also made it to the Tucson Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, or the TPYO, and the songs selected and the players make it sound AMAZING! I had my first rehearsal yesterday, and the director herself commented on the timpani on one of the songs and said "Boy, he can play timpani!" Felt great, shows the potential I can make of my skills by participating in the program!! :D Any thoughts or comments on this regard? Can't play too often because of school, so whenever I feel like I'm all ahead and caught up, I'll play and see how I fare, at the moment! But that's all I wanna say for now, will make more future thoughts if more things happen, of course! ;-) |

School > FFR. You've pretty much answered your own question as far as playing when you're caught up/ahead.
If you feel the need to smash arrows (just to take a break in the middle of things), limit yourself to a max of 10 minutes or 5 songs or whatever you see fit. Just try not to get carried away and have a couple hours pass by.
Congrats on making into TPYO! :)

Hey, man! Thanks for the advice, it makes sense to have that break as a mind-refresher for the next bit, as long as I don't get carried away like you said!
And thanks for the congratulations, it means a lot to me! :D

Bruh I got by in Highschool by just doing all my homework during class and paying attention in class lol..
Just to let you know, when you are done highschool, you get LESS time, not more D: I'm at work right now, working half day then I have classes for the rest of the day at university :/ feelsbadman

Dinglesberry is right. I did all of my homework in the classes they were due in, I became so good at it, I pretty much never got caught lol. When you leave high school you're going to have to deal with more responsibilities. That's not to say the real world is shit or anything; having some money is pretty awesome. You just probably won't have as much time. I think it's more important to manage your time well enough that you can afford to mess around on some games when you want to... life is a lot more fun that way. Just don't let it consume you ;)
