God does not care about any method. Following rules means nothing. If you don't believe me, look at what Jesus always says about the pharisees, the "teachers of the law". Despite being supposedly "godly" people, Jesus still denied them as His followers. That's because God doesn't care about us following rules, He cares about us being His children. He cares about having a relationship with us, as father and child. Sure, following His rules is part of having that relationship with Him, but it is nothing without love, and a true desire to follow Him. If someone says they are a Christian, but still sits back idly, doing nothing for their relationship with God, they are not truly followers of Christ, and do not belong to Him.

Just felt like God wanted me to say that.
