Edge of fear, past mind

I stand here trembling before it.
Why? What is my reason?
No danger shall ever exist.
I have control over this setting.
Keep calm; nothing is wrong.
The body still rattles on.

The great vastness ahead lays empty.
Relax, you. Just go ahead.
All is safe to proceed.
Nothing is going to change.
Nothing will happen to you.
It can't be overcome.

It is still. It awaits me.
Leave your ground, go forth!
The field of light lays ahead.
The darkness before is naught, nihil.
You know that you'll be fine.
So why not take the first step...?
