1st tournament OT17 G3

1st Round : Jade Star (55) AAA
: Was able to AAA after two tries. Thought I was going to get it first but, the shakies on my hands caused me whoops all over the keyboard at the end.

2nd Round : Odin (62) AAA
: At first look thought this song was gonna be one that will take me multiple tries. After playing it the first two times with pretty good scores, was able to AAA the third time. The file was fun to play and my nerves was not as bad as first round. Feels good man.

3rd Round : Tired (64) SDG
1-0-0-2
: This song had me beat right at the beginning. This has been the most reset song on my list in the attempt of AAA due to the intro, the white note rolls into a jump was the hardest part of the song. I have gotten it a few times just to accidently good the note after or miss one of the hands towards the end. It was a good attempt. I'll probably AAA once I have more experience.

4th Round : Frozen One (70) SDG
7-0-0-3
: A little late to writing my journey with this one. The difficulty jump surprised me. Didn't struggle too much with the song. The AAA will be the bigger struggle when it comes time to it. Fun song though.

5th Round : Ichirin (74) SDG
2-1-0-3
: Extremely fun song. Loved the bursts that the song has. The part I struggled with the most was the handstream at the end. Took me plenty of tries to finally get passed the handstream. Didn't think I would get a SDG on this song honestly at the beginning of the round. I'm still improving slowly and extremely recently started hitting the 70 equiv.

6th Round : The Audacity (76) SDG
8-0-0-2
: Difficult song overall, Plenty of bursts, quick handstreams and jumpstreams throughout the song. Feel like I got lucky with the score that I got. Starting to get into difficulty levels I'm not too experienced with.

7th Round : Creep (82) Pass

: Pass at the moment, Still working on trying to FC and/or SDG. Definitely not experienced with 80+ difficulty songs, especially when they're quick paced have a hard time reading and still messing with different scroll speeds and note scale. I have been practicing 80 before this dropped in anticipation however, still struggling a ton with the song throughout. Struggle with the transition to a different beat and the quick roll bursts and jump trills in the beginning. Tend to go off-beat with the handstreams at the end. I don't expect going to the next round atm. Will make more notes as I progress through the song..

: Final score for the tournament with a few hours left to go. My final thoughts pretty much are that I am inexperienced and still have plenty of charts to learn from, still need to improve in accuracy in general. 80+ songs are still a little to high for me, notes become too blurry with higher scroll speeds and too squashed in lower scroll speeds. Even though I found a comfortable scroll speed for this song the patterns in general were a little too fast from me to accurately hit. I'm sure with more plays on the more difficult songs I'll be able to not hit so many boos or goods. It's been real and fun. I'll continue to improve as I play more.

   Congrats on 4th in your first official tournament! That's a huge accomplishment and was fun to see your progress throughout the OT ^^
