FFArt – Week 4
Week 4 is now underway! For those of you who don’t know, FFArt is a way that those of you out there with artistic talent can contribute to 3rd Style and see your name in the game credits.

In an attempt to avoid drama, please remember that when you submit an image, you can’t go back and revoke it. You said we could use it, so we’re using it. To use an example, whoever wrote the song “Danger Zone” can’t go back to the people who made the movie “Top Gun” and demand they remove it. It’s done.

Multiplayer Moderators
We are in the process of implementing moderator functions for the Multiplayer Chat lobby. We will be actively looking for people interested in spending a couple hours a day in multiplayer in order to take care of spammers, cheaters and that sort of thing.
If you are interested, please PM lightdarkness or Chardish and leave them a detailed message as to why you think you would make a good moderator.
Do not leave them a message like “yo I wuld kick tha buts u want go FFR wtfbbqroflcoptrsamzinggrayce”. Use a spellchecker and proper grammar. Any message like that will immediately be disregarded.
Moderators of course will have influence over the direction of FFR and will have access to the moderator sections in the forums.

Busting Butt to get .67 done..
We have been working all day and probably most of the way into the night tonight trying to get most of the .67 features done. I promise that you will get your money’s worth.

P.S. Decided to let out some of the features that were done already while we continue to work on the final .67 tonight. Clear your caches and reload.. You will notice some new features at the end of a level on the score screen.
*NOTE* The main new feature is not in yet… this could take some time. We don’t want to get it wrong and screw everyone over.
*UPDATE* – We are still going to need some more time to work on additional features. Would you guys rather I tell you what the new big feature is now and then continue to work on it?
Original Holy Night Remix Replaced
We had 2 versions of the Cranky Party 4u song in the shop. The first one included triples and most keyboards do not support this. In response to that problem we created a second version without triples.
We then put up a vote asking people what they wanted to do with the original version. People overwhelmingly voted to have a new song put up to replace the original. So in it’s place you will find the AIM Anthem from DJ Aerogroove at 1000 credits. Definately not your normal song and As always, this is not a stepfile for the weak. We will be testing it this morning to fine tune it.

Spook is Taking Control of the Radio
Spook Goblin will be once again spinning a live set for you guys on Weds starting at 7pm CST (5pm pacific & 8pm eastern). As always it will be an original show that you don’t want to miss. Even better you will be able to listen in both Hi and Lo bandwidth and Winamp or Media Player can be used as with all FFR Radio broadcasts now.
For those of you who have missed the show in the past. DO NOT MISS IT!!! Spook is not merely playing tunes but doing live mixing on the turntables for the duration of the show.

Slowly but surely
Well, my first philosophy class was tonight and my promotion is in full effect at work. Add on to that my planning for the big event this Saturday, my girlfriend and I are buying items and coming up with how we are going to arrange and decorate the rooms for the apartment we will be moving into in the near future, working extra to put away some money, hanging out with some friends I haven’t seen in a while and checking out some new games I bought recently, and I’ve been pretty busy.
Contrary to belief, I do not get paid for what I do here. I work strictly on my free time and I’m getting things along as much as I can, but sometimes I have to take care of personal issues, so please have patience.
*UPDATED*
The secret project #2 is now 70% complete. I HOPE (notice hope) to have the project completed by the end of next week, maybe sooner. At this rate, however, it is possible I will have it completed by the end of this week. If I can get a hold of Synthlight no problem when I finish it, there is a very good chance it will be done before this weekend. However, with my event this Saturday, I will not be too available, if at all. I will see how everything unfolds.

Also, for those working on secret project #3, I talked to Synth and he said he would set up a way for you to get the songs sometime soon.
