So.. I was sitting getting nervous.. About 10 minutes before the contest started because I really had no idea what to do for the contest. So I wrote ideas on pieces of paper and stuck them in my office trashcan. I Swirled them around a bit hoping nothing else dangerous was inside and picked one out.
Yes.. It is another camera one. BUT.. I will allow photoshopped images or other images found on the net as a valid entry.
And.. here are the rules:
#1 Take your camera (which you are familiar with because of the last contest)
#2 Find an object
#3 Safely stick object in your nose
#4 Think to yourself how happy FFR makes you
#5 Take picture
#6 Upload picture to the thread in the forum HERE –> http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/vbz/showthread.php?t=60975
#7 Hopefully (picked by random method) win one of the new T-Shirts of any size you desire. To be shipped out immediately. You will also be given a 6 month subscription which will allow you to see beta levels about 2-3 weeks in advance.
Now.. Please.. PLEASE be careful and don’t do anything stupid. This is only one of the brand new, shiny, special edition, limited edition, limited quantity, Fruit of the Loom BEST quality, Super snazzy T-shirts. Don’t act like it is something special.
You guys have exactly 1 hour. (ends at 7PM Central, 8pm Eastern)

*EDIT*… FINALLY! We have a winner. I used a mixture of my birthday, thoughts of perfume, an image of wild deer roaming a forest and last but not least, a drop of tobasco sauce on a nap that was spun around on a table and pointed to 4 random finalists. ALL of you had great entries! Let this not be thought of as judgement on any of your wonderful works of art. THE WINNER… IS.. RAVEREN!! Congrats!! Raveren, we will pm you with the information on how to get the shirt shipped out to you immediately. Thanks ago to everyone who participated. I was litereally crying because I was laughing so hard.

********WINNER DECLARED!************
For going where no FFR member has dared go before, Jchinzilla has won the contest. It was by popular opinion that we decided the winner. In his last attempt he proved dedication to the cause and would stop at nothing to attain fame and a new shirt. He knows no shame. So true to the juggernaut spirit.
Congrats Jchinzilla!! PM JasonKey your address and shirt size! It will be sent out this week.

2 new songs for this Sunday night
This time, we have 2 new unique songs, Ruins and Honolulu.
Both songs are essentially based on 12th or 24th notes (purple and pink arrows).
I think we didn’t have those kind of songs on FFR until now.
Ruins is a cool song by Yamajet, steps are by me. In my opinion this song is definitely one of his best songs, so I got permission from him and stepped. A fairly difficult file with many 120BPM 24th notes (the same speed as 180BPM 16th notes), especially trills and jumps at the end are tough. Difficulty rating of this song is 4.5/6 (Challenging).
Honolulu is a simple and hilarious song by Torley Wong, steps are by dAnceguy117, his first simfile for FFR. Mostly steps are 136BPM 12ths and overall a fun and intermediate file, still has some tricky parts with doubles and 24ths. We rated it as 3/6 (Tricky).
You can find both songs in Misc section.
Enjoy unique rhythms.

Special Song Release: Celldweller’s Switchback FFR Edit
Independent Electronic-Rock artist Klayton of Celldweller has just prepared a special edit of his latest remix release for Flash Flash Revolution. “Switchback” (Klayton Revision) joins the existing FFR Celldweller songs “Stay WIth Me” (Unlikely) and “The Last Firstborn.” Celldweller’s music has already been introduced to tens of thousands of fans through FFR and now fans and newcomers alike can experience a brand new level while hearing new sounds from Celldweller.
This level will definitely be playable by just about anyone who wanders into FFR and would be a good song to move onto after you have graduated from songs like the Mario song or Trip to the Moon. But… For those of you looking for an insanely difficult challenge, we will be working up a V2 (only with Celldweller’s permission) and will be making one insane file (you have been warned).
I would like to thank Celldweller for making a special trip into the studio last week to hand edit this version of Switchback for FFR. It means a great deal to us that such an amazing artist can see the value in a game and community like FFR.
As a special thank you to the FFR community, Klayton has prepared a special sale of the Debut Celldweller album featuring “Stay WIth Me” (Unlikely) and “The Last Firstborn” for only $10 with Free Shipping. The sale is open to all FFR members and fans. Sale ends April 1, 2007. Please show your support to this amazing artist.

Before I forget, You can find the song in the Rock section. Enjoy!

Song of the Week #1 – Air
Finally.. we have a Shiki‘s song on FFR, Air. It’s a really well-known song for those who play Stepmania, since a lot of people have stepped this song. FFR version of this song is stepped by Rebirth0, also very popular stepfile artist here. This is a full version so the length is 4:23 and has 1,940 total notes, steps are awesome and fairly tough with 178 BPM 16th streams and some bursts. Difficulty rate is 5/6 (Very Challenging), so it’s a really challenging song to Full Combo.
You can find this song in the 3rd page of Dance2 section.
Good luck.
